Once Krishnamacharya received a Yoga education from Ramamohan Bramhachari in Tibet he & his partner dedicated their lives to giving Yoga to everyone else in all countries & cultures. They had learned that Yoga is participation in the union of all opposites & is the practical means by which all life ideals, spiritual & secular are actualized.

.

This had already been stated in their own Vedanta lineage by Ramanujacharya of the 10th C, however Yoga had been obliterated by male orthodoxy since the 15th C. Where it still appeared it was tainted by the. dualistic seeking of the cultures of forceful conquering nature & the feminine rather than receiving.

.

So Krishnamacharya and Namagiriama dedicated their lives to educating everyone in Yoga. In the longest Yoga workshop ever, 7 1/2 years on the banks of sacred Lake Manasarover nestled beneath sacred Mount Kailash, the great polarity of female male, the nurturing power. and polarity of all life Krishnamacharya studied with his guru. He studied everything there was to know about Yoga that had flourished throughout the wisdom traditions for 900 years as state sponsored education until the 14th C.

.

In his own culture of Vedanta the Tantras had completely merged. He and Namagiriama set about restoring and honoring their own tradition and the Tantras inherent to it. Of Namagiriama Krishnamacharya stated “she is my spine”. He received her strength & was devoted to her as his primary focus with clarity of intention. In the religious poetry of his own Vaishnava you only come to God via devotion to his consort Lakshmi. The Goddess must be pleased then God is happy. Just like we must serve Mother Earth’s relational ecologies now as our first priority for God / or reality realization.

Just so in the family life everyone knows intrinsically that if mother is happy, father is happy. That is the first priority, please mother, please the feminine.

.

The Tantras were destroyed & made darkly suspicious by orthodoxy, so even Krishnamacharya could not speak of them openly.

Now we do. God and Sex : Now We Get Both.

.

Once more by state sponsored Yoga from the Maharaj of Mysore we flourish.
